A useful record connects a product to evidence, rather than simply displaying a verification badge.
Start with the batch
A meaningful product record identifies the actual lot and the origin, specification and packing information available for it. Unknown fields should remain unknown until confirmed.
Read the scope of the claim
Batch traceability and individual-tin tracking are different. A QR code is a route to information; its presence alone is not proof that a product is authenticated.
